Over 418,000 Afghan refugees returned from Pakistan

MONITORING (SW) – Radio Pakistan, the governmental media in this country, has reported that so far, 418,980 illegal Afghan immigrants have been returned from Pakistan to Afghanistan.

Radio Pakistan has written on its Facebook account on Saturday, December 9 that 2473 Afghan citizens have been returned to the country on Friday.

This media added: “Repatriation of illegal foreign nationals including Afghans to their homeland is continuing in a dignified and safe manner.”

In October, Pakistan set a deadline for illegal immigrants, including 1.7 million Afghan citizens, to leave the country; otherwise, they will be expel.

The interim government of Pakistan has started the process of forced deportation of Afghan citizens without residency documents from this country on November 2.
