KABUL (SW) – The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has announced the visit of Amir Khan Muttaqi, the caretaker of this ministry, to Iran on an official invitation.
Zia Ahmad Takal, Deputy Spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, stated on Friday, December 22, that Mutaqi has left for Iran, leading a delegation.
The statement adds that Amir Khan Muttaqi traveled to Iran to participate in a high-level consultative-political conference on the issue of Palestine, following an official invitation from Iran’s foreign minister.
It is noteworthy that Iran is one of the countries maintaining a positive interaction with the de-facto government of the Islamic Emirate.
