KABUL (SW) – Amir Khan Muttaqi, Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of the de-facto government, has met with Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Iran.
Zia Ahmad Takal, Deputy Spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, stated that the meeting took place on Sunday, December 24, at Hossein Amir-Abdollahian’s office in Tehran.
In this meeting, the two sides discussed the expansion of diplomatic relations between the two countries and solving the problems of Afghan immigrants and prisoners.
Amir-Abdollahian has assured Amir Khan Muttaqi that Iran is ready to cooperate with the de-facto government of Afghanistan to solve the problems of Afghan refugees and prisoners, added the statement.
Amir Khan Muttaqi left for Tehran on Friday to participate in a conference on Palestine.
