Four million dollars of Chinese investment in Kabul

KABUL (SW) – At least four million dollars worth of investment has been done by four Chinese firms in Kabul, said one of these investors.

Yu Mink Khoi is one of the founders of “Chinese Town” in Kabul city, who built this ttownship in the 4th security district of Kabul city, at the “Sarsabzi” intersection.

He, who has been doing business in Afghanistan for 20 years, says that he has also built a Chinese store in this town, where more than 60 Chinese companies sell their products and technologies that are produced in China.

Yu Mink Khoi adds that four Chinese companies are going to invest four million dollars in Afghanistan in 1403. He is still talking to 126 Chinese companies to invest in Afghanistan.

Yu Mink Khoi emphasizes: “I invested five million dollars in Afghanistan 20 years ago, and I have obtained the license of 60 Chinese companies, and we brought 600 models of products and technologies produced in China to Afghanistan. Now we are trying to encourage 126 other Chinese companies to invest in Afghanistan.”

Similarly, some residents of Kabul city say that with the investments of citizens of other countries in Afghanistan, the scope of entrepreneurship will increase for the citizens of Afghanistan.

Mohammad Youssef, a seller in a Chinese store in Kabul city, says that dozens of people visit this store every day to buy Chinese commercial goods.

He adds: “In this store, commercial goods produced in China are sold such as heaters, tables and chairs, water purifiers and Chinese carpets. These goods are of good quality.”

Hamid, another seller of Chinese commercial goods in Kabul city, says that they sell these goods wholesale and retail to citizens. He adds: “These commercial goods are sold wholesale and retail to the citizens of the country. Dozens of people come to this store to buy it every day.”

It should be mentioned that after the establishment of the Islamic Emirate in Afghanistan, China and its citizens have become more interested in investing in Afghanistan.
