KABUL (SW) – Officials of the General Directorate of Passports of the Ministry of Interior have said that the process of distributing passports throughout Afghanistan will resume next Wednesday.
Abdul Karim Haseeb, General Director of Passport, said in a press conference in Kabul on Thursday that the process of distributing passports will be resumed throughout the country next Wednesday.
The General Director of Passports aadded in this meeting that new facilities have been created in the department of passport distribution to citizens.
Officials of the General Directorate of Passports still assure the commitment of this department to prevent corruption, distribution of fake passports and the activities of commission agents.
The process of distributing passports across the country was stopped due to ‘technical problems’ earlier this year.
