KABUL (SW) – The Afghanistan Meteorological Department has issued a warning on its Facebook page about the possibility of heavy rain and snowfall in 27 provinces.
The department has said that there is a possibility of heavy rain and snowfall on Wednesday and Thursday.
Badakhshan, Nuristan, Kunar, Nangarhar, Laghman, Kabul, Logar, Paktia, Khost, Ghazni, Takhar, Kunduz, Baghlan, Panjshir, Kapisa, Parwan, Maidan Wardak, Bamyan, Samangan, Daikundi, Ghor, Sarpol, Balkh, Jawzjan, Faryab, Badghis and Herat are among the provinces where there is a possibility of rain and snow.
According to the announcement of the Department of Meteorology, the amount of rainfall expected in different places is between 15 and 40 mm, and the amount of snowfall expected in different places is expected to be between 15 and 50 cm.
