“Foreigners and invaders” blamed for the crises in Afghanistan

KABUL (SW) – Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs, Amir Khan Muttaqi, has said that all the current problems of Afghanistan were caused by “foreigners and invaders”.

He said this during the funeral ceremony of the Ministry’s employees who were killed in a suicide attack in Kabul a few days ago. Mr. Muttaqi emphasized in this ceremony that the cause of the problems in Afghanistan are foreigners and invaders.

“There is peace everywhere, the roads are open day and night. The problems are caused by the same tyrants and occupiers who killed people in these 20 years. At that time they killed with gunpowder, bombs and airplanes, now they kill with hunger”.

Commenting on this, Seyyed Shafiqullah Sadat, a university professor and researcher of international issues, said that providing order, security and public welfare is one of the main duties of governments in any country. He said that along with the Islamic Emirate, America and the international community are also responsible for the the current situation in Afghanistan.

He told Salam Watandar: “One of the duties of the government is to bring order, security and welfare. In this context, was the behavior of the Islamic Emirate correct? The Islamic Emirate has not acted properly in its basic duty. The cause of the current situation may be the Islamic Emirate; But America and the international community are responsible too.”

On the other hand, political activist Juma Khan Pouya says that the prevailing culture in Afghan governments is to always relate existing challenges to outsiders. “The bad culture that has existed in Afghanistan is that governments blame problems on outsiders. Governments have the duty to ensure the security and fundamental rights of citizens”.

It should be noted that the officials of the Ministry of Economy have previously said that foreign organizations must comply with the internal laws of Afghanistan and not politicize their humanitarian aid.
