Ghani urges the Taliban to share details of the Doha Agreement

MONITORING (SW) – Former president Mohammad Ashraf Ghani, has demanded the Taliban to share ‘secret’ details of the Doha Agreement with the US.

In response to the ban on imposed on female university students by the Islamic Emirate, Ghani called the current situation “gender apartheid”. In a text message on his Facebook, he asked the Islamic Emirate to share the hidden annexes of the Doha Agreement with the people.

He said: “Prohibition of women’s education is the continuation of terrorizing the people of Afghanistan. Any minority that does not get the consensus of the majority, is affected by the anger of the people. Those who signed the shameful Doha Agreement should share the annex of this agreement with the people of Afghanistan”.

Seyyed Zakrullah Hashemi, a political activist close to the Islamic Emirate, however, said that the Doha Agreement has no annexes. He told Salam Watandar: “Dr. Mohammad Ashraf Ghani is a figure of the past, and I don’t think so about my attachments, and this is the word they want to put pressure on people’s minds.”

Meanwhile, Yar Mohammad Bqeri, a political activist and political science researcher, says that Mohammad Ashraf Ghani wants to escape his responsibility in the fall of the republic with his group and projections. “Mr. Ghani wants to escape from his responsibility for the downfall of the republic by making the scandals that he caused by his escape, and now by projecting and proposing annexes to the Doha Agreement.”

On the other hand, Nazar Ahmad Razaqi, a researcher of international relations, says that Ashraf Ghani cannot exonerate himself by commenting on the Doha Agreement and its annexes.

“One night before the fall, Ghani spoke of resistance in a telephone conversation with the US foreign minister, but he escaped the next day, and these statements cannot exonerate him. But some clauses of the agreement may not be shared due to political and security reasons”.
