KABUL (SW) – Mohammad Hassan Akhund, the Prime Minister of the Islamic Emirate, has said the Daesh militant group has been wiped out from the country in comparison to the past.

According to a statement by the General Directorate of the Administrative Affairs of the Islamic Emirate, he said this during a meeting with the visiting delegation of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation at the Arg palace in Kabul.

In this meeting, the Prime Minister said that according to the policy, the Islamic Emirate does not allow anyone from Afghanistan to interfere in the affairs of others or pose a risk to their security.

He added that the group known as the Islamic State (ISIS) has disappeared compared to the past and the efforts of the Islamic Emirate forces continue in this regard.

On the other hand, Mohammad Hassan Akhund said that the Islamic Emirate was able to “end war, insecurity, killing, destruction and corruption in the country” and if the world and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation help, there will be progress in these fields.

In this meeting, the Prime Minister of the Islamic Emirate emphasized that “many problems have occurred here in the past twenty years and the country has been destroyed in every way” and international aid, especially the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, is needed for its reconstruction.

It should be noted that the officials of the Islamic Emirate have made similar comments about the Islamic State group many times before despite the group managing to stage multiple deadly attacks in different parts of the country.
