KABUL (SW) – The deputy head at the Office of the Administrative Affairs of the Islamic Emirate has announced that the passage of planes over Afghanistan has increased in the past few months.

The Administrative Affairs office said in a video report that it broadcast on its Twitter that after the agreement with “GAK” company of the UAE for a number of airports in the country, now nearly 100 planes pass through Afghanistan airspace in 24 hours.

It added that AFN 60,000 are charged from each plane to cross Afghanistan, and hence 180,000,000 afghanis are paid to the government’s coffers every month.

After the fall of the previous government, the process of flying planes out of the country was stopped, and although Kabul International Airport is ready for flights, it is said that many parts of this airport need to be renovated.
