KABUL (SW) – Zabihullah Mujahid, the spokesperson of the Islamic Emirate, has said that six members of Daesh were killed and two of them were arrested in the security operation by the Islamic Emirate forces in Kabul.

Mujahid stated that the special units of the Islamic Emirate discovered a Deash hideout in the 8th district of Kabul and then conducted an operation against it, as a result of which six of the insurgents were killed.

Mujahid added that two of the Deash members were arrested by the forces of the Islamic Emirate.

Last night, the sound of explosion and shooting was heard from the Karte Nau area in the 8th district of Kabul city.

According to Mujahid, in this operation, hand grenades, explosive materials and a Corolla car were also seized by the security forces of the Islamic Emirate.

The spokesman of the Islamic Emirate said that the Deash members killed in this operation were those who were involved in the recent explosions in the mosque of Wazir Mohammad Akbarkhan, the Kaj educational center in Dasht Barchi and some other.

The Daesh group has not yet said anything about this.

On the other hand, the spokesman of the Islamic Emirate said that during the operation, one security force of the Islamic Emirate was killed and another was wounded.

It should be noted that after the return of the Islamic Emirate to power, the deadly attacks by Deash have increased in Afghanistan, which mostly targeted Hazara citizens and minorities.

This is despite the fact that the Islamic Emirate has repeatedly said that the presence of Daesh in Afghanistan is not considered a threat to the current government.
