KABUL (SW) – The local authorities in Ghazni say that five people, including two women and three children, have died after a passenger bus got stuck in the flood.
Omar Haqqani, head of Ghazni’s natural disaster control department, told Salam Watandar that the Kabul-Kandahar highway was damaged in the “Pol Mati” area of the highway yesterday evening following the flood in Moqar and Gilan districts of this province.
According to him, a passenger bus got stuck in this flood and as a result five people including two women and three children lost their lives.
Previously, dozens of people have been killed or injured as a result of the flood and related events in Ghazni.
