‘Terrorists’ kill five workers in Samangan

MONITORING (SW) – Local sources in Samangan say five people have been shot dead by unidentified gunmen in the Dara-e-Suf district of the province.

According to sources, the incident took place yesterday evening in the “Kotal Rig” area on the Mazar-e-Sharif-Shulgara highway.

Sources added that the dead were residents of Dara-e-Suf district and common workers.

The cause of this incident is not yet clear. Sources state that the bodies of these people have been transferred to Dara-e-Suf district clinic.

Meanwhile, Mohammad Mohaqiq, leader of the Islamic Unity Party of Afghanistan, wrote on his Facebook page that ‘terrorists’ had arrested a driver and four passengers in Dara-e-Suf district and then brutally killed them.

Referring to the perpetrators of this incident, he added that these people were killed while Enamullah Samangani, one of the deputy spokesmen of the Islamic Emirate, announced yesterday that Daesh has no public or physical presence anywhere in the country.
