Scores of students killed in Kabul explosions

MONITORING (SW) – At least 25 students were killed in an explosions at the Abdul Rahim Shaheed school in Kabul, sourced said on Tuesday.

According to sources, the explosions that took place near the school this morning were caused by suicide attacks. Sources added that the explosions took place as the students were about to leave.

This morning, west of Kabul witnessed a total of three separate explosions. Two explosions took place near the school of Abdul Rahim Shaheed and a third explosion took place at the Mumtaz School.

Local sources confirmed that more than 5 people were killed and more than 10 were injured in the blast at Mumtaz School.

Meanwhile, Khalid Zadran, spokesman for the Kabul Police Command, confirmed to Salam Watandar that, according to initial reports, six people had been killed and 11 injured in the blasts. He added that the forces of the Islamic Emirate have gone to the scene and investigations are underway.

The Emergency hospital also wrote on Twitter that seven injured people had been taken to the hospital so far.

No group or individual has claimed responsibility for the blasts.

On the other hand, it is said that the forces of the Islamic Emirate did not allow the journalists to cover the incident and some of the journalists were beaten and arrested.

It is worth mentioning that in the past, learning centers in the west of Kabul have been targeted by suicide bombers and have caused many casualties.
