KABUL (SW) – The Da Afghanistan Bank has announced that restrictions on the salaries of government and non-government employees have been lifted in accordance with the strategic restructuring plan for the financial and banking sector.
The bank said in a statement that from now on, all commercial banks will pay the salaries of government and non-government employees at their request, without delay or restriction.
It is worth mentioning that after the establishment of the Islamic Emirate, the employees were restricted from withdrawing money from the banks and once a week they could only receive 20,000 afghanis or 200 dollars from the banks.
This restriction had caused many problems for the citizens, who complained that they had to wait for hours and days to receive their money from the banks.
