MoPVPV confirms the moral police rounding up girls in Kabul

KABUL (SW) – The Ministry for the Propagation of Virtue and the Prevention of Vice (MoPVPV) authorities have confirmed reports of the moral police rounding up girls in Kabul over their alleged inappropriate dress code in defiance to the Islamic Sharia and in order to prevent “obscenity”.

Pakistani delegation set to visit Kabul

KABUL (SW) – Officials announce that Fazal-ur-Rehman, the president of the political party Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam in Pakistan, is set to lead a delegation on a visit to Kabul on Sunday. During the visit, he will meet and discuss with the authorities of the Islamic Emirate.

New media law to finalize, says Mujahid 

KABUL (SW) – Zabihullah Mujahid, the spokesperson for the de-facto government, informs Salaam Watandar that the Afghanistan’s new media law has been submitted to the leadership of the Islamic Emirate for approval and will soon be shared with the media owners.
