The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) in Afghanistan has announced that Denmark has contributed over five million US dollars to the country.
In a post on X on Monday (18 May), the agency thanked Denmark for its generous contribution of 5.49 million US dollars to the humanitarian fund in Afghanistan.
OCHA emphasized that the country’s support will help vulnerable communities recover from shocks and gain access to critical humanitarian assistance across Afghanistan.
Previously, Denmark had also contributed 2.8 million US dollars to Afghanistan’s humanitarian fund.
