The 6th consecutive coordination meeting was held in Faryab among the governors, police chiefs, and intelligence directors of five provinces in the Northwestern Zone-Balkh, Samangan, Faryab, Sar-e pol, and Jawzjan.

The meeting was held on Thursday (Feb. 12), during which various issues were discussed. Among the topics raised was a directive from the leadership of the Islamic Emirate stating that signboards written in Pashto, Dari or Uzbek before its return to power should remain unchanged and that their language must not be altered.

According to a statement from Balkh provincial office, officials were informed about plans to establish a special religious school ‘Madrasa’ for children of returnee families in the province approved by the Islamic Emirate’s leadership.
