Khalid Zadran, the spokesperson for the Kabul Police Command, confirmed the deaths of several people in yesterday’s explosion (Monday, January 19).
He announced on his X account that seven people had been killed and several people injured in the explosion in Kabul’s Shahr-e-Naw area. The victims included one Chinese citizen and six Afghan citizens.
He added that the type of explosion has not yet been determined, and an investigation has been launched.
According to Zadran, the explosion occurred yesterday around 3:00 PM at a Chinese-Afghan joint hotel on Golfroshee Alley in Shahr-e-Naw.
