Iranian ambassador discusses pivotal bilateral matters with Islamic Emirate

KABUL/ TEHRAN (SW) – The Iranian ambassador to Kabul, Ali Reza Bikdeli, has met with Amir Khan Muttaqi, the Acting Foreign Minister of the Islamic Emirate, to discuss crucial matters affecting both nations.

In a statement shared on X, the Iranian embassy in Kabul revealed that the discussions centered around trade, healthcare, agriculture, and transportation.

The newsletter further mentioned that the meeting was part of ongoing political and economic consultations between the two parties, during which they addressed various concerns.

Additionally, the Iranian embassy emphasized that the two sides also engaged in talks on political cooperation.

As one of Afghanistan’s key neighbors, Iran remains a vital trading partner for the country.

Over the past three years, the Islamic Emirate has worked diligently to strengthen both political and commercial ties with Iran.
