MONITORING (SW) – The Ministry of Repatriations and Refugees (MoRR) of the the Islamic Emirate de-facto government announced the signing of two cooperation agreements with the Rural Rehabilitation Association for Afghanistan (RRAA) and the New Way Social and Development Organization (NSDO).
The agreements were signed on Wednesday, by Mohammad Jan Khedrkhil, Head of the ministry’s Department of Invitation and Guidance and Acting Deputy for Professional Affairs, along with representatives from the two organizations.
According to the announcement, the RRAA will allocate $1,020,102 USD for the provision of comprehensive services and integration programs to support vulnerable children in the provinces of Herat, Farah, and Ghor.
These services will benefit 160,908 returnees, internally displaced persons (IDPs), and host communities.
Additionally, the New Way Social and Development Organization will spend 3,763,020 afghanis on distributing winter aid packages in the provinces of Kunduz and Badakhshan, benefiting 200 returnee families.
