KABUL (SW) – Uzbekistan’s Prime Minister Abdulla Nigmatovich Aripov has arrived in Kabul on Saturday morning, leading a high-level delegation.
According to a statement issued on the official X account of the de-facto Ministry of Commerce and Industry, PM Aripov is in Kabul to participate in a bilateral trade connectivity meeting between Afghanistan and Uzbekistan, and to inaugurate an exhibition showcasing Uzbekistan’s domestic products.
This visit marks the first time Uzbekistan’s Prime Minister has traveled to Kabul since the re-establishment of the Islamic Emirate government in Afghanistan.
The exhibition of Uzbekistan’s products and domestic goods has been scheduled to open on Saturday afternoon, with the presence of the Islamic Emirate officials, the Uzbekistan’s delegation, and representatives from the private sectors of both countries.
