TALUQAN (SW) – An Islamic Emirate force member was shot dead in the Almar district of Faryab province on Sunday afternoon.
Shamsullah Mohammadi, head of Faryab’s Directorate of Information and Culture, confirmed that the individual, named Mohammad Ali, was shot by two unknown armed individuals using a handgun in the market area of Almar district.
Mohammadi stated that the incident was due to personal enmity, and two individuals have been arrested in connection with the incident.
Similar incidents have previously occurred in Maimana, the capital of Faryab, and the Garziwan district of the province.
