MONITORUNG (SW) – Hassan Kazemi Qomi, Iran’s Ambassador and Special Representative for Afghanistan, has said that the complex and difficult situation in the country and the region requires comprehensive dialogues with all parties.
On Sunday, Qomi wrote on his X account that he is participating in the forthcoming Doha meeting in order to share Iran’s concerns about Afghanistan with the United Nations and the countries participating in the third meeting.
Qomi added that he will discuss Iran’s humanitarian policies towards Afghan immigrants in the Doha meeting.
Iran’s special representative for Afghanistan has expressed hope that the third Doha meeting can provide the basis for achieving stability, security, sustainable development and governance based on the free will of Afghan citizens in this country.
The third Doha meeting will be held on Sunday in Qatar with representatives of more than 30 countries hosted by the United Nations to discuss Afghanistan.
A six-member delegation from Afghanistan, led by Zabihullah Mujahid, the spokesperson of the Islamic Emirate, will participate in this meeting.
