GHAZNI CITY (SW) – The media office of the Ghazni Security Command has reported that 63 traffic accidents occurred in the past month in the center and districts of the province.
According to a statement released by the office, these incidents resulted in 17 deaths and 47 injuries.
The statement also mentioned that dozens of cars and motorcycles were stopped by the Ghazni Traffic Management for not following traffic rules.
Traffic incidents have been on the rise in different provinces in recent months.
According to the latest statistics from the General Directorate of Traffic Police of the Ministry of Interior Affairs, 1,265 traffic accidents occurred in Afghanistan in the first two months of the current solar year, resulting in 562 deaths and 1,792 injuries.
