IE welcomes decision to recognize an independent Palestinian state by three nations

KABUL (SW) – The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Emirates has welcomed the decision of Norway, Spain, and Ireland to recognize Palestine as an independent state, considering it a positive step.

On Friday, in a statement released on its official X account, the ministry described this advancement as Israel committing “war crimes” and engaging in “ethnic cleansing” through its attacks on Gaza.

The statement reads: “The Islamic Emirates of Afghanistan considers the land of Palestine the legitimate right of the Palestinian people, condemning the ongoing genocide by Zionist occupiers as a fundamental cause of instability in the region, and condemns it in the strongest terms.”

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated that the Islamic Emirates once again calls on the international community and Islamic countries to take “urgent” action to defend the people of Palestine in the face of the current crisis.

Lately, leaders of Norway, Ireland, and Spain jointly announced that they recognize Palestine as an independent state with the aim of ending conflicts in Gaza.
