KABUL (SW) – The Embassy of Afghanistan in Beijing has officially commenced the distribution of passports to Afghan citizens residing in China.
Announcing the news on social media platform X, the embassy stated that Afghans living in China can now obtain new passports directly from the embassy.
Highlighting ongoing efforts, the embassy emphasized providing consular services to Afghan citizens in China over the past two years.
Earlier, Asadullah Bilal Karimi presented his credentials as the ambassador of the Islamic Emirate to China in January 30, to the president of this country.
China is the first country to officially accept the credentials of the ambassador of the de-facto government.
Zabihullah Mujahid, the spokesperson for Afghanistan’s de-facto government, expressed hope for other countries to adopt a similar policy towards the Islamic Emirate.
