MONITORING (SW) – The latest statistics published until Monday, December 11 show that since the beginning of the conflict between Israel and Hamas, at least 17,997 Palestinians have been killed.
According to the statistics, at least 7,729 children and 5, 153 women are included in the dead.
The latest figures show that at least 49,229 Palestinians including 8,663 children and 6,327 women have been injured as a result of war in Gaza. At least 7,780 missing.
Israel has continued its attacks across the Gaza Strip, including near hospitals and in the south of the besieged enclave where ground operations are intensifying.
The latest figures from the Palestinian Ministry of Health show that at least 275 including at least 63 children have been killed the in the occupied West Bank.
More than 3,365 have been wounded.
In Israel, officials revised the death toll from 1,405 to “around 1,200” and then to “1,147 civilians”.
According to them, about 1,147 have been killed and at least 8,730 injured due to conflict.
Devastation across Gaza
According to the latest data from the UN’s Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA), the World Health Organization (WHO), and the Palestinian government, as of December 4, Israeli attacks have damaged over half of Gaza’s homes which 305,000 residential units have been destroyed or damaged.
As the statistics show, 339 educational facilities, 87 ambulances, and 167 places of worship were damaged and 26 out of 35 hospitals not functioning.
As of December 5, at least 63 journalists, mostly Palestinian, have been killed since the Israel-Gaza war began on October 7. According to the Committee to Protect Journalists (CPJ) and the International Federation of Journalists (IFJ), 56 Palestinian journalists have been killed, as well as three Lebanese and four Israeli journalists.
