Cabinet ministers hold meeting on internal affairs in Kandahar

KANDAHAR CITY (SW) – The two-day meeting of the Council of Ministers has been held in Kandahar under the chairmanship of Hebatullah Akhundzadeh, the leader of the Islamic Emirate, confirmed officials.

This meeting was held on Monday and Tuesday with the gathering of the caretaker government cabinet members in this province and focusing on domestic policies.

How the forces of the Islamic Emirate behave towards the citizens, the provision of services by the government departments, handling the situation of immigrants returning from Pakistan, the details of the economic delegation of the Islamic Emirate’s trip to Iran, and ways to improve the relations of the caretaker government with the world, especially neighboring countries, were among the most important topics of this meeting.

Bilal Karimi, one of the deputy spokespersons of the Islamic Emirate, told Salam Watandar that in this meeting, instructions were given to the officials by the leader of the caretaker government in order to improve governance.

He says: “In this meeting, Amirul Momineen gave recommendations and orders to the officials and cabinet members of the Islamic Emirate for the purpose of good governance and ensuring transparency in the administration of affairs.”

Searching for ways to improve relations between the Islamic Emirate and other countries, especially neighboring countries and the region, was one of the other topics discussed in this meeting, he said.

Aziz Meraj, expert on political affairs, told Salam Watandar that the content that came out of this meeting was good. “But, just how much these things are considered and implemented by the lower ranks is an important and subsequent discussion.”

On the other hand, Mahmoud Anzhrebi, another expert on political issues, says that Afghanistan’s recovery from the crises it is currently facing requires discussions in such meetings and practical steps to be taken by the caretaker government.

He adds: “On the one hand, the countries that do not recognize the Islamic Emirate from outside and the level of people’s dissatisfaction with the Islamic Emirate increases internally, especially if they are dissatisfied with the conduct and behavior of the Islamic Emirate’s forces, then the problem will arise both internally and externally.”

It should be mentioned that after the re-establishment of the Islamic Emirate, the leader of the caretaker governorate settled in Kandahar and managed affairs from there. While no new picture of him has been shared so far.
