Bamyan residents build a road at their own expense

KABUL (SW) – Residents of Yekavalang district of Bamyan have built five kilometers of a road at their own expense.

The local authorities of Bamyan say that the construction of five kilometers of road at the personal expense by the residents of Yekavalang No. 2 district of this province has been completed and this road has been put into operation.

Bamyan governor’s media office, quoting Mohammad Amin Rasa, district governor of Yekavalang No. 2, stated that with the construction of this road, at least 500 families have been provided with ease of transportation.

According to the district governor of Yekavalang No. 2, this road was opened on Monday and has been put into operation.
