Uzbekistan trade delegation lands in Kabul

KABUL (SW) – The Ministry of Industry and Commerce has announced that a delegation from the government of Uzbekistan has arrived in Kabul.

According to the newsletter, the head of this economic delegation of Uzbekistan is Jamshid Khajeyov, the deputy prime minister of this country, and the delegation includes about 45 people, including the ministers of trade, mines and transportation, independent directors, and Uzbek businessmen.

In a newsletter of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, it is stated that the purpose of the official visit of the delegation of the Republic of Uzbekistan to Kabul is the development of bilateral trade, finding solutions for transit issues between the two countries, and opening an exhibition of commercial property of this country in Kabul.

It should be mentioned that Uzbekistan is one of the few countries in the world that has close relations with the Islamic Emirate in various fields.

This trip is carried out while some Uzbek media reported about the trip of a delegation from this country to Afghanistan to share Uzbekistan’s concerns regarding the construction of the Qosh Tapa canal.
