KHOST CITY (SW) – Khost governor’s office has confirmed that an explosion occurred in a hotel near the White Mosque in Khost city, the center of the province, before noon on Monday.
According to the statement, several Waziristan refugees and Khostites were killed in this explosion. The statement added that so far three dead and seven injured have been sent to Khost hospitals.
In the press release issued by the provincial administration, nothing was said about the type and manner of this explosion. Also, it is not clear in the press release whether the death happened to the residents of Khost or refugees from Waziristan.
According to the statement, the security officials went to the place of the incident and besides the type and manner of the explosion, investigations are going on about the death toll caused by it.
