Analysts see Pakistan blaming Afghanistan for its internal issues

KABUL (SW) – Analysts believe that Pakistan is seeking to pointing fingers at Afghanistan to seek gains by ignoring its own internal security problems.

Along with the increase in security incidents in Pakistan, the country’s chief of army staff, Gen. Asim Munir, has said that Afghans are involved in attacks in this country.
The Chief of Staff of Pakistan made this statement on July 7 at a meeting of the tribal leaders of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and claimed that the involvement of Afghans in terrorist attacks in this country will pose a threat to the security of the region.

The military experts believe that the security situation in Pakistan is more complicated than the allegations that the Afghans are behind it.

Sadiq Shinwari, an expert on military affairs, told Salam Watandar: “The security situation in Pakistan is part of the strategic goals of America in this country. America wants to spread extremism through Pakistan to neighboring parts of China.”

At the same time, another expert on military affairs, Asadullah Nadeem, says that the current situation in Pakistan is due to the country’s wrong policies, and according to him, Pakistan has always used Islamic politics as a tool in its foreign policy.

He said: “Extremism is a internal issue in Pakistan and its roots are connected to society and wrong policies of this country. Pakistan has always used Islamic politics as a tool in its foreign policy, and this issue may have become irrelevant today.”

Although Pakistani officials have repeatedly expressed concern about the threat from Afghanistan in the past two years, these concerns increased after an attack on a meeting of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islami party in that country.

In order to eliminate these concerns, Mohammad Yaqoob Mujahid, Acting Minister of Defense of the Islamic Emirate, recently said that if someone goes outside Afghanistan with the intention of Jihad, his war is not Jihad, but it seems that these statements have not yielded positive results either.

In addition to all this, experts emphasize and say that Pakistan is facing a serious political, economic and security crisis, and the issue of terrorism is taking advantage of Afghanistan.

Military affairs expert Abdul Wahid Thaqat said about this: “Pakistan wants to put pressure on Amirul Momineen with these actions, so that he says that Jihad is not going on in Pakistan.”

It is worth noting that the Pakistani authorities have warned from time to time to take practical steps to curb the Pakistani Taliban movement or TTP inside Afghanistan.
