KHOST CUTY (SW) – Local officials of Khost say that five members of a family have died due to floods in this province.
The incident took place on Friday in Ismailkhilo Manduzio district of Khost, as a result of which five members of a family “mother, father and three children” drowned and died.
Dost Mohammad Hilal, director of Khost natural disasters management adency, also confirmed the incident and said that a flood swept away a car in the, resulting in the death of five members of a family.
In recent days, floods have occurred in different provinces of the country due to heavy rains, which have caused heavy personal and financial losses to the people.
According to the figures of the Ministry of Disasters Management, in recent days, floods have killed 48 people and injured 58 others in 14 provinces. Also, more than 1,100 residential houses and nearly 8,000 acres of agricultural land have been destroyed.
