KABUL (SW) – Abdul Karim Haseeb, General Director of Passports of the Ministry of Interior Affairs, said that more than 100,000 passports are distributed to citizens through this department every month.
The General Director of Passport said this in a meeting with Abdul Salam Hanafi, the administrative deputy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs while presenting a report on the activities and functions of his department.
The Arg twitter handle quoted Abdul Karim Haseeb as saying that efforts are underway to increase the amount of passport distribution.
Meanwhile, the administrative deputy of the Prime Minister’s Office said in this meeting that the passport is a “normal right” of every citizen and the officials should make all effors to facilitate customers.
It should be noted that citizens have been complaining about the slowness of the passport distribution process for a while now.
