FAIZABAD (SW) – The officials of Badakhshan department of information and culture have confirmed that Radio Voice of Women in this province has resumed its broadcasts after a week of suspension.

Meanwhile, Najia Soroush, the head of the Voice of Women Radio in Badakhshan, has said that the broadcasts of this radio have started again this morning, with the commitment to follow the laws of the Islamic Emirate and the cooperation of the institutions supporting the Badakhshan media.
The head of the Voice of Women Radio added that the broadcasting of this radio was stopped a week ago due to the ‘mistake’ of one of its employees due to not following the broadcasting rules of the Ministry of Information and Culture, playing songs in Ramadan and the activities of men instead of women in this media.
It should be mentioned that after the establishment of the Islamic Emirate, this was the first media in Badakhshan whose publication was stopped for a while.
The Voice of Women Radio in Badakhshan is one of the partner radios of Salam Watandar in Afghanistan.
