CHARIKAR (SW) – Officials in Parwan claimed to have killed a member of the Daesh group and the arrest 10 others in the vicinity of Charikar city, the capital of this province.
The media office of the Parwan security command said in a statement on Friday morning that 11 members of the Daesh group who had escaped from Herat were hiding in a house in the first security area of Charikar city. It said that as a result of the operations of the Islamic Emirate forces, a member of this group was killed and the rest of others were arrested.
According to the news report, three women and seven children affiliated with the group have been arrested as a result of this operation. The news report states that some of them are residents of Jabal al-Saraj district of Parwan.
The newsletter added that this operation ended without harm to the forces of the Islamic Emirate and the local residents.
