Four coal miners lose lives in Samangan

BAMYAN CITY (SW) – Local sources in Bamyan told Salam Watandar that four coal miners, three of whom were residents of this province and one was a resident of Daikundi, died as a result of gass leak in the coal mine of Dera Suf District, Samangan Province.

A source, who did not want to be named, said that this incident happened four days ago. According to the source, three of the dead in this incident, including two brothers, were residents of Hisa Awal Yak Aw Lang district of Bamyan. “The bodies of these three people were buried two days ago in their villages, and the body of the fourth person has been moved to Daikundi.”

Meanwhile, Abdul Sabour Farzan Sighani, the spokesman of the governor of Bamyan, confirmed this incident and said that two days ago, three miners, two of whom were residents of this province and one was a resident of Daikundi, died in the coal mine of Suf Valley district of Samangan.
