Foundation stone laid for a new school in Parwan

CHARIKAR (SW) – The foundation stone for a new school has been laid in Parwan province.

The local officials of Parwan say that the foundation stone of a school worth 400 thousand US dollars was laid in the 11th district of Charikar city.

The governor of Parwan, Obeidullah Aminzadeh, told Salam Watandar that the restoration work of this school was started by the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees. The school will have 14 classrooms.

At the same time, the representative of the office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees in Parwan, Sayed Zubair Saeedi, said that the restoration work of this school will be fundamentally carried out by the “ACRO” organization, and it would be completed within eight months.

On the other hand, Parwan Education Director Muhammad Hassan Haqqani welcomed the establishment of this school in the eleventh district of Charikar city and added that the residents of the area long needed a school and according to him, this problem will be solved with its construction.
