$17 million pumped into the market to stabilize afghani

KABUL (SW) – The Da Afghanistan Bank has announced pumping $17 million into the open market to stabilize the value of the afghani currency.

The DAB announced that in order to maintain and stabilize the value of the afghani currency, it will auction 17 million US dollars on Wednesday.

The bank has asked eligible banks and forex services companies to participate in this bidding.

The bank has said that the auction winners have the obligation to liquidate their accounts by the end of the auction day.
