KABUL (SW) – A number of female protesters held a demonstration in front of the Kabul University against alleged expulsion of female students.
Carrying banners, the protesters chanted the slogans “education is our red line”. They condemned the expulsion from KU hostel.
Protesters say that the Islamic Emirate forces have expelled a number of female students from Kabul University without any legal reason.
By issuing a resolution, the protestors demanded to be allow the expelled students to return to their classrooms.
The resolution states: “Education is the Islamic and citizenship right of every person. Forced expulsion of female students under any pretext has no religious or humanitarian grounds”.
In the other part of the resolution, the protestors have asked the Islamic Emirate to reconsider the expulsion of female students from Kabul University and to provide grounds for their return to the university and dormitory.
Protesters have also demanded the reopening of the school for girls above the sixth grade.
