Five Daesh insurgents reportedly killed in Kunduz

KABUL (SW) – The Islamic Emirate forces claimed to have killed at least five Daesh insurgents in Kunduz province.

Officials in Kunduz say that the security forces discovered a hideout of armed people in this province this morning and engaged with them.

Obaidullah Abedi, the spokesman of the Kunduz Security Command, said that based on the intelligence report, the security forces launched a special operation against the hideout of the Daesh group in this province.

According to Abedi, this operation was launched in a residential house in the second security area of ​​Kunduz city, and during the conflict, five Daesh members were killed.

Following the return of the Islamic Emirate to power, the Daesh group has launched many operations in different provinces of the country, which have killed and wounded hundreds of people, most of whom were the ethnic Hazara inhabitants.
