ZARANJ (SW) – An exchange of fire has taken place between the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan forces and the Iranian
Credible security and local sources in Nimroz told Salam Watandar that the conflict between the forces of the Islamic Emirate and the Iranian border guards in “Darwishok” area of Kong district of this province has broke out this afternoon.
According to these sources, the conflict in this area is currently ongoing and the forces of the Islamic Emirate have been sent from the center of Nimroz to the conflict site.
The sources added that these conflicts have caused casualties to both sides, but the details of that figure are not available.
The local authorities of Nimroz have not said anything about this so far.
This is not the first time that there has been a conflict between the border forces of Iran and Afghanistan in Nimroz province.
