KABUL (SW) – Analysts believe the latest remarks by the Islamic Emirate leader regarding laws and legislation would fuel divisions among the people.
A number of analysts say that the latest words by the leader of the Islamic Emirate creates distance between the people and the government.
Salim Paikar, an analyst, told Salam Watandar that people’s opinions should be taken into account in all issues of the society. According to him, governments that ignore the opinions of their people will not survive. “It only widens the gap between the government and the people. We should not play with the fate of our people at this time.”
At the same time, Tariq Farhadi, another expert on political issues and international relations, said that if the Islamic Emirate wants to implement Sharia law, the first step should be to reopen girls’ schools above the sixth grade. He considers the words of the leader of the Islamic Emirate contradictory.
Analysts believe that the Islamic Emirate should seek the people’s satisfaction, not deprive the people of their freedom.
Mustafa Alizada, another expert on political issues, said that due to the chaotic situation in Afghanistan, the Islamic Emirate should not impose more restrictions on the people.
Hebatullah Akhundzada, the leader of the Islamic Emirate, said in a meeting with the governors that laws made by individuals cannot be implemented.
In the statement released by Zabihullah Mujahid, the spokesman of the Islamic Emirate, it is written that Hebatullah Akhundzadeh met with the governors in Kandahar.
In this meeting, he added that in the government of the Islamic Emirate, “Only God’s decree can be implemented, and all problems are solved based on the Sharia, and all decisions are made in accordance with the Sharia.”
