KABUL (SW) – The Ministry of Public Health has announced that 72 new cases of coronavirus have been identified in the country in the past 24 hours.
The new cases have been reported in seven provinces. No deaths from the COVID-19 have been reported during this period.
According to the MoPH, some 1,175 patients suspected of having contracted the virus were tested and 10 patients recovered after initially contracting the virus.
According to the Ministry of Public Health, 381,098 people have been tested since the beginning of the spread of the coronavirus. Of these, 57,793 people were found to be infected with the virus and 2,539 people lost their lives due to the virus. Similarly, 52,115 people have recovered after initially contracting the virus.
