NIMROZ (SW) – An aerial raid has killed at least 14 civilians in Nimroz province, sources said on Sunday.
A well-placed sources who wished not to be named in the report told Salam Watandar that the incident took place in the Khash Rod district late last night. It is said children and women are among the victims in this air raid that took place in the Manzaray village of the district.
The source said the incident took place when the government forces were engaged in an armed battle with the Taliban insurgents in the area.
This is not clear if the air raid was conducted by the Afghan or Allied forces.
A number of sources claim most victims of the air raid were members of the single family.
