US special envoy for peace missions Steve Witkoff, along with Jared Kushner and Adm. Brad Cooper, commander of U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM), visited the USS Abraham Lincoln in the Arabian Sea during its scheduled deployment.

Fox News reported that during the visit on Saturday, Witkoff praised the service members, saying they are “keeping us safe and upholding President Trump’s message of peace through strength.” The visit came shortly after U.S.-Iran talks in Oman focused on Iran’s nuclear program.

During the visit, Witkoff and the delegation thanked the crew, watched flight operations, and met the pilot who downed an Iranian drone, praising the service members for their readiness and defense of U.S. interests.

The USS Abraham Lincoln left San Diego in November for the Indo-Pacific and arrived in the Middle East in January. Adm. Cooper praised the crew for their dedication, professionalism, and demonstration of U.S. military strength.
