KABUL (SW) – Acting Foreign Minister Amir Khan Muttaqi has traveled to Yaoundé, Cameroon, to participate in the 50th Ministerial Meeting of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC).
The de-facto Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Emirate announced that Muttaqi’s visit is aimed at attending the significant event.
Zia Ahmad Takal, Deputy Spokesperson for the Ministry, confirmed Muttaqi’s trip on Tuesday, August 27, via his X account.
During the meeting, Muttaqi is expected to engage in discussions with OIC officials and representatives from member countries.
The 50th OIC Ministerial Meeting is scheduled to take place on August 29-30, in Cameroon’s capital, Yaoundé.
