MONITORING (SW) – Israel’s war on Gaza has killed at least 28,576 people with at least 68,291 others wounded, Gaza Health Ministry says.
The latest toll includes 103 people killed over the past 24 hours, a ministry statement said.
According to Al Jazeera, more than 7,000 people are believed to be trapped under the rubble that 4,900 women and children are among them.
At least 18 Palestinians were arrested overnight in the occupied West Bank, including two women from Jericho, Al Jazeera reported.
The Palestinian Prisoner’s Society and the Palestinian Commission of Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs say detentions also took place in Hebron, Qalqilya, Nablus, East Jerusalem and Ramallah.
The total number of arrests after October 7 is 7,020. Arrests are “one of the most prominent tools of collective punishment”, the groups said in a statement on Telegram.
