“There should be no excess in the implementation of Shariah limits”

KABUL (SW) – Azizullah Mazhari, the head of Afghanistan’s Supreme Court, has said in a scientific-research seminar called “Implementation of Shariah Limits and Security” at the Afghanistan Academy of Sciences that there should be no excess in the implementation of Shariah limits. .

The head of the Supreme Court has added that the conditions should be taken into account in the implementation of Sharia limits. He emphasized: “There should be no excesses in the implementation of Islamic Hudud, and the conditions for the implementation of Hudud should be equal and justice should be considered in it. It is necessary for us to obey the law.”

Meanwhile, the officials of the Ministry of Justice, who participated in this seminar, said that implementing some of the “Sharia rulings” and not implementing some of these rulings will weaken the system.

Fazlhadi Sahibzadeh, head of the inspection of the Ministry of Justice, said: “Applying some Sharia rulings and not applying some other Sharia rulings will cause the system to fail.”

Similarly, officials in the Afghanistan Academy of Sciences have said that the implementation of Sharia limits will reduce crimes in the country.

Amirjan Saqib, Vice President of the Afghanistan Academy of Sciences, said: “Awareness of Sharia limits and its implementation in society prevents crimes, and security cannot be brought without the implementation of Sharia limits in the Islamic system.”

It should be mentioned that after the re-establishment of the Islamic Emirate in the past two years, a number of citizens in different provinces have been flogged in front of everyone on charges of theft, running away from home, drinking alcohol and moral corruption.
